Draft or Sealed — you build from the packs in front of you.
Who this is for
Prereleases, people learning a new set, anyone tired of constructed netdecks.
Sealed: you open a pool of boosters and build a 40-card deck. Draft: you pick one card from a pack and pass the rest.
Lands come from the store box. You will play more than you think — 17 lands in 40 is a common start.
Limited is the kindest way to learn a set. You cannot “have the wrong rares” if everyone opened the same product.
