100-card singleton, 40 life, a legendary commander in the command zone.
Who this is for
Kitchen tables, most game stores on a weeknight, anyone who bought a precon.
You pick a legendary creature (or planeswalker that says it can) as your commander. The other 99 cards are singleton — one of each name, except basic lands.
Color identity is a lock: if the commander is blue-red, the 99 cannot have a black mana symbol. Life starts at 40. Twenty-one combat damage from one commander knocks a player out.
A precon from Wizards is a legal starting list. Upgrade it slowly. Do not buy fifty random rares and call it a deck.
