Each priced row buys the lower slab at the guide price and sells it on the next priced PSA rung. The leftover is what remains if the copy actually comes back there, after the PSA fee and about 10% to sell the new slab. A grade with no guide price stays on the list. Dirt on the surface can sometimes earn that one rung. Centering, corners, edges, and a crease cannot. The prices do not say which of those held this copy down.
