How it works
DON!! — your mana
Ten cards that are not in the deck. You add them each turn, rest them to pay, or attach them as power.
DON!! are the gold coins next to the playmat. They never go in the 50-card deck. Most games use ten. You add two each turn (one on the very first turn).
To play a card, rest DON!! equal to its cost. Rested DON!! wake up in Refresh. That is the whole mana system.
You may also attach DON!! to a Leader or Character: each attached DON!! is +1000 power. Attached DON!! are not sitting in the cost area, so you cannot rest them for the next Event until they come back.
Beginner trap: attaching every DON!! for a huge swing, then having nothing left to play a Counter. Leave a couple in the bank if your hand is full of Events.
